After OpenAI boards of directors fired Sam Altman from OpenAI more than 770 employees signed a notice on Monday. They threatened the directors of OpenAI, to quit the board if Altman doesn’t come back. The future of OpenAI is on the edge. It creates great opportunities for the Big Tech giants to create their AI footprints in the world.
In the meantime, the Salesforce CEO declared that he also offering the match compensation to OpenAI developers who resigned from the team of OpenAI.
Benioff posted online, “Salesforce will match any OpenAI researcher who has tendered their resignation full cash & equity OTE to immediately join our Salesforce”.
However, the executive has extended the offer and post online, to those who are working on a U.S. visa, their visa can be affected by changes at the company. Marc Benioff also said, that those who resigned from OpenAI, can join Company’s Einstein AI research team. That research team will work under the Salesforce Chief Scientist Silvio Savarese.
On the other hand, Nadella the CEO of Microsoft offered Altamn to join his in-house AI development team, Altman joined Microsoft without a second thought. Nadella tweeted on X, “Together with colleagues, will be joining Microsoft to lead a new advanced AI research team”.
