Satya Nadella the CEO of Microsoft, gestured that with OPenAI’s governance, Microsoft will go forward. However, he was not clear, whether Microsoft pushed to have its own directors on the board of the startup. Where has invested $12 billion?
CEO Nedalla said to Bloomberg’s Emily Chang in an interview on Monday “Surprises are bad, and we just want to make sure things are done in a way that will allow us to continue to partner well”.
Nadella was blindsided by the decision to fire Sam Altman by the OpenAI’s boards. The firing of Sam Altman created a huge opportunity for Microsoft. Later Microsoft hired Altman to lead an in-house AI lab. It is like Nadella hired the complete OpenAI in zero rupees.
This creates a total chaos. Most OpenAI developers/employees are now joining directly to Microsoft. This master stroke of appointing Sam Altman of Satya Nadella proves to all of us why he is the best CEO in 2023. Now Sam Altman is an employee at Microsoft.
However, several people including OpenAi’s employees tweeted that ‘OpenAI is nothing without its employees’.
Satya Nadella Said, “We really want to partner with OpenAI, and we want to partner with Sam, Irrespective of where Sam is, he is working with Microsoft. That was the case on Friday, that was the case today, and I absolutely believe that will be the case tomorrow”.
